Full Time Accountant

DUTIES
• Preparing profit and loss statements, monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
• Analyse the revenue and expenditure of a business.
• Preparing BAS statements
• Ensure that statements and records comply with laws and regulations
• Organize and maintain financial records
• Liaising with external auditors
• Liaising with Financial Institutions
• Liaise with Project Managers and Monitor coordinate and
analyse projects reports to ensure accurate reporting of revenue and
cost based on project performance.
• Liaise with procurement staff in relation economic order quantities and lead times
• preparing inventory analysis reports and analysing
variances, and Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related
to inventory
• Maintaining internal control system
• Project Costing and Capital asset evaluation.
• Verify credit terms and customer agreements, and Credit reconciliations both local and overseas
• Monthly accounting, analysis and reporting of Logistics both local and overseas
• Processing foreign currency payments
• Preparing bank reconciliations and related reports
• Assist the CFO with Payroll processing
• Assist the CFO in budgeting and cash flow planning
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Degree in accounting or equivalent
• Must have Minimum 2 years accounting experience with extensive manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of standard costing methodologies
• Must have Strong varied experience with SAP ERP system
• Competence in use of Windows, Excel (vlook-up and Pivot tables) and Word
• Previous experience in Inventory Analysis
• Experience in foreign currency transactions
• Previous experience working in a project accounting role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally
• Strategic thinker and developer of strategies and plans.
